We have two video clips which show plainly the difference between Gasfuse and flow restricting regulators.
Flow Restrictors Leave The Fire Burning! The video shows a barbecue that is not protected by a Gasfuse. With only a flow restricting regulator, a10 inch flame continues to burn. A worse case than this is if the gas coming out of the hose did not ignite immediately. LPG is heavier than air, and forms explosive pools at ground level. Gas will build up and ignite suddenly. |
Gasfuse Stops The Gas CompletelyThe video shows a backyard barbecue in operation. The hose is deliberately cut, to simulate a sudden rupture such as the hose coming apart, or burning through due to a grease fire. Only Gasfuse stops the gas completely in case of a hose rupture. |
