The video shows a backyard barbecue in operation. The hose is deliberately
cut, to simulate a sudden rupture such as the hose coming apart,
or burning through due to a grease fire.
Only Gasfuse stops the gas completely in case of a hose rupture.

The video shows the same barbecue working under identical conditions,
except this barbecue is not protected by a Gasfuse.. The hose is
again cut. With only a flow restricting regulator, a10 inch flame
continues to burn.
A worse case than this is if the gas coming out of the hose did
not ignite immediately. LPG is heavier than air, and forms explosive
pools at ground level. Gas will build up and ignite suddenly.
